Diversify your real estate marketing efforts to incorporate your virtual world with your "real" world. A union between direct mailers and online marketing is a marriage made in heaven.Even in an online world, direct mail has not gone the way of the Dodo bird.? While virtual marketing has taken the forefront in many real estate agent?s advertising efforts, totally ignoring direct mail as a viable method of getting your name out there is not smart.? To really get the most bang for your buck, you should consider incorporating your online information into your direct mail campaigns.? Direct traffic to your real estate site with direct mailers.

Dream in color!? A generic white postcard with some slick sales pitch and your professional photo just aren?t going to cut it when looking for new clients.? You have to spice it up.? You have only a precious few seconds to make an impression on your potential buyer or seller before your mailer is relegated to the recycle bin.? A colored background, vibrant photos and different font sizes and types will definitely make the recipient sit up and take notice.

Next, set up a landing page geared specifically for each direct mail campaign.? It doesn?t have to be anything fancy.? Use the same colors, fonts and photos you have on the postcard, a bit of sales copy for a taste of what they can expect from your real estate services and then offer them something free in exchange for giving you their name and email address.? A new landing page should be used for each separate campaign to help you keep track of which campaigns are working best.? Again, the landing pages don?t have to be intricate, but should offer something to entice potential real estate clients to give you their contact info.? Make sure the URL for the landing page is placed prominently on the postcard so they won?t miss it.? This will help you increase your prospect list for future efforts.

In today?s virtual world, developing relationships is key to a successful real estate business.? That means you should be emailing your contacts on a regular basis with information they will find helpful.? This includes both current and past clients as well as those prospective clients who have responded to your direct mail campaigns.? I know from experience that keeping up with past clients can oftentimes turn into current business, especially when I send them something that sparks their interest.

Don?t get stuck in a rut.? There are many ways to direct traffic to your real estate website.? Direct mailers are still a viable option for real estate marketing, especially when you incorporate your virtual self.? Let me know what you do to get potential clients interested in using your real estate services. I?m always curious to see how creative people get with their marketing efforts.
